Reverse Balayage
There are many techniques and methods in which your colourist can create your balayage, all offering a slightly different result.
Traditionally, balayage involves lightening your hair to create a natural, sun-kissed look. Reverse balayage is similar but it’s all about creating dimension and depth throughout your hair by painting darker strands and creating lowlights.
Both balayage and reverse balayage use the same hand-painted technique to create beautiful, natural looking hair colour. Our hair colour experts are passionate about creating your perfect look and are more than happy to discuss which technique would work best for you.
Root Melt
Unlike traditional highlights which can leave a demarcation line on the hair, root melting achieves a soft and seamless transition from your natural root colour into another (often lighter) shade at the tips.
The final result is natural and soft, making it perfect for those seeking a subtle yet glamorous look.
Root melt hair can be low maintenance if you opt for natural shades of brown and blonde, however, bright, vivid hair colours that are different to your natural root colour will require more regular top-ups.
The Money Piece
Money piece colour is also known as face frame colour - think Gerri Halliwell's obvious blonde strips of blonde hair colour in the 90's.
The strips or highlighted pieces of hair can be thick and chunky or thin and subtle - it's up to you!
